Yes, many good writers thrive on this platform. But more often, to quote Ecclesiastes and a Hemingway classic, the scum also rises. In other words, don’t worry if you are more scum than sun.

Was "dear reader" a call back to my favorite author/anarchist, Michael Malice and his book on Kim Jong Il? If so I caught the connection with you trying to sway the masses & North Korea... not really but I felt like asking.
No, dear reader wasn’t an allusion to Malice but I did hear him speak about his book on a podcast (maybe Lex Friedman?) when it came out. I haven’t read anything by him but seeing as he’s your main guy to read I’m intrigued now.
The growth stuff is really more anti growth satire as you can tell. It was actually meant as one post but it got too long so I split it up into two. But I promise next week won’t be anything growth / decay related…
